of people

A diverse community enables diverse perspectives. That’s exactly what this place is meant to become: a space where everyone feels comfortable and comes together through a shared interest in art—especially film.
The films shown act as icebreakers and open the room for conversations about everything that moves us in life.

of locations

Every location brings its own audience—and that’s exactly what creates diversity. With each event, new groups join and discover additional venues. Gradually, the audience mixes and grows into a diverse community.

of films

Diversity of films: A wide-ranging program offers something for everyone—and at the same time provides the opportunity to discover new genres and perspectives. From sports films to arthouse, from political topics to purely aesthetic works—the festival invites you to broaden your own horizons.

Intercultural exchange acts as a cultural bridge between people, fostering a more open and inclusive coexistence. The goal is to create a platform where not just a segment of society is represented, but diversity is actively lived. This takes place in the context of opening oneself up to new contacts and gaining fresh perspectives on the world and life.
A funding pool will be created here to support and realize no-budget film projects. The goal is to ensure that financial constraints pose less of a barrier to pursuing creativity and passion. This initiative specifically aims to make small film projects possible—projects that would otherwise fall through the cracks of larger film funding programs.

Josh Kampeter
President
Since my youth, I have dreamed of carrying out my own project and making the world a little better. In recent years, I have gained a lot of experience in various projects, until this year, when the idea for the Culture X Frames film festival was born.
With this, I want to use my passion for film and events to bring people closer together again, while also making it easier for young artists to access film funding.

Chris Schnebel
Technical Director
For me, images—and especially moving images—have always been an outlet for emotions and a way to show others how I perceive the world. As a filmmaker, I have experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to be seen—whether by funding bodies or by the audience you want to reach. With Culture x Frames, I am excited to help others overcome these very hurdles and share their perspective of the world with others.
